The Campbell River Wharf

Logs and debris pounded against the wharf whenever there was a storm, and in 1918 it broke. An overhead trolley was rigged up to bring in freight and other goods until the repairs were completed. Walter Crawford, the wharfinger at the time, had a new car out on the end of the wharf and worried about it incessantly until the repairs were made.
